Jennifer Butler Murray filed for divorce and stated that he abused her and was also addicted to marijuana and alcohol. Bill Murray said that he was so depressed at one stage that he was left a dead and broken man.
He said that it was a devastating time for him “That was the worst thing that ever happened to me in my entire life.” Murray is not one to stay down for long, and has said that he has now begun to build himself back up.
Bill Murray says he was so depressed because of his divorce from Jennifer Butler that he didn't care if he had a chute when he went skydiving in August at North Avenue Beach.
